MOTORIST HELD AFTERTRAGEDY Companion Killed by Car Near Richmond, By Unite 4 Prttn RICHMOND, Ind., March 30. Discovery of liquor In the automobile driven by Harry E. Turner, 40, Chicago, together with his admission that he was convicted on a forgery charge in Muncie in 1924, caused his arrest after his companion, John H. Murray, Chicago, was killed near here. Murray was struck by a car driver, by Roscoe Gilbert, Connersville, after Turner’s auto was wrecked In collision with a truck. Turner boarded a train for Chicago without reporting to police. He v.aj taken from the train in Logansport, at the request of local authorities. He is held in default of $3,000 bond, pending completion of the investigation of the accident.
