Three centers provide the best setting for sensational developments, •u Vincennes, Muncie and I’rankfort, where the three outstanding title choices will compete, there tre dark horse contenders menacing the favorites. 6
Washington Hatchets, defending their 1930 crown, face a possible stumbling in the Vincennes Alices. Although beaten twice during the season, John Adams’ quintet has high hopes for turning the tables on the Friddlemen. The champs* ..owever, still rate the . ontt post. Newcastle Confident At Muncie, Newcastle’s Trojans hope to break the string of regional triumphs turned in by the Bearcats. Year after year the Magic City quintet has come to the state, turning back strong Newcastle teams. With his best combination seatons, Coach Orville Hooker is conlident of stopping that quintet which advanced to the finals of the state event las* spring. Pete Jolly's boys, providing they are in top physical shape, will be* the favorites, however. Connersville, as usual, will be forced to dispose of ltushville, with Richmond and Lawrenceburg, the latter a dark horse, both dangerous. Alexandria, Danville and Shortridge of Indianapolis are given an even break in the Anderson regional, with Tipton regarded as the dark horse. The Wheeler Lunch team of the Indianapolis League will travel to LeDanon tonight and roll a picked team of the Ulen Country Club. Mr. Wheeler sponsor of the Wheeler team has made all arrangements for this match, which is creating considerable interest among the bowlers of Lebanon. E. Streibeck-I'.t Hueber again displayed their pin-getting ability in the AH- Star doubles League, rolling games of 451, 449 and 460 a total of 1,360 to, take three games from Hornberger and Wimberly. Hueber led this play with a score of 693. tJ’reibeck rolled 667 and Hornberger 621. The McKew-F. Liebtag team also hit In fine style, their 1.304 total including games of 436. 455 and 413, which was good for a tv.o-game win over Fulton-Snyder. Liebtag rolled 690 and McNew 614 during this set. After a poor start of 327. Johnson-L. Fox hit wonderful scores, games of 491 ind 429 bringing theif' total to 1,247 for a two-game win over James-Cra.v. Don Johnson secured 668 in this set. Fehr-Mtck also rolled a nice total, scoring 1,258 to take the odd game from Mounts-Abbott. Fehv continued his good v/ork with a total of 670. Mounts tossed in 623 for the losers. C. Liebtag and C. Myers finally broke the "Jink” that has held them down in the standings bv taking the entire series from Rassmussen-Weisman. The winners totaled 1,230, Myers rolling 642. Bohn-Fahrbach put on a 451 finish to cop the rubber from Schlelmer-Phelps. Bohne counted 617 for the winning combination. The Marott Shoe Shop seems to be in shape for their whirl at the maples In the A. B. C. Kokomo’s ancient rival, Marion stronger in late season tilts, may prove another surprise, while Waoash and Hartford City both are given upset chances. At Logansport, Delphi both ha ve hopes, but the Berries appear to be strong and are favored by the draw. Feldman Faces Tramblie in Legion Ring Feature Tuesday
Joe Feldman of Chicago was signed today by the American Legion to meet Ray Tramblie of Rockford, 111., in the ten-round feature of Tuesday night’s boxing show at the Armory. Feldman, who weighs 158 pounds, has been boxing four years and in that time has fought in all the weight divisions from lightweight to middleweight. According to his manager, Leo Fomaciari of Chicago, Feldman has beaten Gorilla Jones, Billy Hall, Maxie Strub and other well-known pugs. The Legion announces that the winner of Tuesday night’s scrap will meet Del Fontaine ip the feature the following week. Fontaine and Tramblie staged a great battle here two weeks ago at the Armory. Twenty-Six Rounds on Riverside' Ring Bill
Twenty-six rounds of fighting will constitute the weekly fistic bill to be presented by Promoter Bill Bowma na tßiverside Friday night. Onie Gahimer, hard-hitting Shelbyville junior welter, will mix with Joe Lynn of Terre Haute in the eightround headliner. Jimmy Fox of Indianapolis and Kid Smith of Shelbyville are scheduled to travel over the six-round route in the semiwindup. Charley Capin and Joe Moore, lightweights, top the preliminary card in a four-rounder. Two other scraps will round out the bill.

Ell Lilly basketball team, playing its last game of the season meets Riverside Buddies at East Tenth Street gym tonight at 8:15. The Lilly team has won 24 out of 30 starts this season. Preceding the tilt will be a preliminary game between Hoosier Demon Girls and the East Tenth Street Girls teams, to start at 7:15. Favorite* came through in the semifinal game3 of the city 140-pound Sunday basketball tournament at Tabernacle gym Wednesday. East Tenth Triangles humbled Carrollton Avenue Reformed. 42 to 23. and will play Meridian Heights Presbyterian, who defeated Mayer Chapel Dixie. 37 to 17. in the title game tonight at 8:30. Tabernacle Ironmen and Carrollton Reformed clash in a preliminary tilt. First of a two-game series between Fifty-Third Union Trust Company of Cincinnati and Fletcher Trust cage teams will be played tonight at Pennsy gym. Indianapolis Flashes oppose Planner and Buchanan in a 7 p. m. tilt and South Side Turner Girls meet Marmon Girls at 8 p. m., in preliminaries encounters. Second game of the series will be played at Cincinnati next week. 700 Enter Illini Meet By Times Special CHAMPAIGN, 111-, March 12— The flower of middle-western track men, with sprinklings from the east and south, will strive for supremacy in the colorful indoor relay carnival at the University of Illinois on Saturday.
