Thetas of State Here for Meeting Annual state founder’s day luncheon of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority *as today when more than three hundred Thetas from all over the state gathered at the Claypool. Special tables for the speakers, officers, alumnae rush committee and advisory board were decorated with baskets of spring flowers and old gold candles in silver holders. DR. HIGHTOWER TO TALK AT BETH-EL Dr. P. R. Hightower of the department of psychology of Butler university will speak on “Modern Methods of Reconditioning Children,” before the meeting of the Beth-El-Zedeck sisterhood at 2 Monday in the vestry room at the temple. Dr. Hightower is an authority on child psychology, and is well known as a lecturer. Mrs. Isaac Marks is in charge of the program committee, and obtained Dr. Hightower as the speaker. Another feature of the program will be a group of dramatic readings by Mrs. Milton Steinberg. A tea and social hour will follow the program. Members are privileged to bring guests. Traveler to Address Clubwomen Edward Tomlinson, lecturer,* traveler and authority on South American affairs, will address the general meeting of the Woman’s Department Club at the March meeting on Wednesday. His subject will be “Wings Over South America.” Tomlinson just has completed an airplane tour of the country. In his talk Tomlinson will discuss relations between the republics of South America and the United States. The lecture will be preceded by a business meeting at 2 and a short musical program. The book-a-month study group will meet at 10:30 Wednesday, when Mrs. Arley McNeely will review “The Raven” (Marquis James). Luncheon will be served at 12:30 Mrs. Charles A. Miss La Vina Common
The program of the state day celebration of the Phi Mu sorority will include talks by Mrs. M. C. Hunt, Lafayette, former state chairman nf the organization, and Miss La Vina Common, president of the active chapter at Purdue university. The luncheon will be held in the Chateau room at the Claypool, March 14.

j Wedding Is to Be Held I in Church The marriage of Miss Thelma I Hinshaw, daughter of Dr. Gertrude 1 Hinshaw, 6325 Bellefontaine street. 1 and Warren Dawson, will be held at 4:30 Sunday at the Union Chapel , church, with Dr. M. A. Farr, Spencer, officiating. The altar will be banked with palms and ferns and lighted by I cathedral candles in seven branch candela brae. The bride will be attended by her j sister, Miss Florence Hinshaw, who j will wear a gown of blue point d'esprit, a large tulle hat and carry pink rosebuds. Halford Dawson will be hi? brother’s best man. Jack Mann and James Foster will be ushers. The bride will wear a white satin gown. Her tulle veil will be caught across the cap with pearls, and she will carry white roses. A reception will be held at tire Scverin for members of the families and the bridal party. The couple will leave immediately for a honeymoon, the bride traveling in a navy blue ensemble with blue accessories. They will be at home in Indianapolis. The bride is a former student of Butler university and a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority. The bride--1 groom attended Purdue university and is a member of Theta Chi.
