Building for the Future

t Great sums of money are spent annually in building for the future.' Vast structures, tunnels under rivers-and overhead bridges, that involve hundreds of millions of dollars, are being built to take care of our future traffic, our increasing population and the general growth of the nation. Let us stop and consider. Are we building good moral character for the future? What are we doing today to strengthen the moral fiber of our youth, the future leaders of our nation, who will inherit all these structures, bridges and tunnels? Will these young men and women have the moral principle to carry on this great work that is undertaken now? 4 r Whether a parent or not, let each of us ask himself a question and be honest with himself.

T s you are leaving ethical training out of the education of youi children, you must accept the responsibility. •

THE TSHDIASTAPOLIS TIMES'

Besides building wealth for the future, am I investing anything in morality? This answer r ests with you. : : ■ ; A generation ago the greatest asset to man was the youth of our nation. Today it seems his property, his automobile come before that great human asset, the YOUTH. * Parents seem to neglect the training of the youth in haste for money. Father and Mother, one misdeed of your child will give you more grief than all financial reverses you might have. Why not invest just your time in building moral character, good principle, clean living and clean thinking in our youth of today? > * _ % Moral and religious training in the home will check the rising tide of crime for the future.
