By United Frees NEW YORK, March 3.—August Yokinen, janitor of a Finnish workgers’ club in Harlem, who was expelled from the Communist party for “white chauvinism” because he refused to use the same bath tub with a Negro, found himself in new trouble today, this time with the United States Immigration authorities. He was reported to have been arrested late yesterday on a deportation warrant, less than twenty-tour hours after his expulsion from the Communist organization in the first mass trial conducted by the Communists in this country. Officials of the International Labor Defense said efforts would be made today to obtain his release on bell. FEBRUARY WAS WARM Records Show Temperature Nearly 7 Degrees Above Normal. Average temperature in Indianapolis during February was 6.9 degrees above normal, J. H. Armington. senior meteorologist, announced today. All bids must be submitted on blank form No. 96 as prescribed by the State Board of Accounts of Indiana, which form will be furnished to the Contractors from the office of the Engineer. The successful bidder will be required to comply with the specifications now on file in the office of the Engineer of the Board of Park Commissioners and each bidder shall denosit a certified check in the amount of $100.00; said check to be certified by a reputable Bank or Trust Company doing business in the City of Indianapolis In case no bid is accepted this check will be returned to the bidder but if one of the bids is accepted, and the bidder shall refuse or neglect to enter into any contract with the City of Indianapolis within five days from the time he shall have been notified of the acceptance of the same, said check shall be forfeited to the City of Indianapolis as ascertained and liquidated damages for failure so to do.
