HOUSE PASSES BILL CURBING INJUNCTIONS Would Limit Judges' Power in Labor Disputes or in Strikes. ‘Voting almost strictly along party lines, the Indiana house of representatives late Thursday passed the Galloway labor Injunction bill, ST--21. and sent It on to the senate for flhal action The measure now Is in an amended form and practically was re writ- • ten after a public hearing last week at whim prominent labor leaders spoke before a crowded senate chamber. As It reaches the senate the bill placer, strong prohibitions on judges, preventing the issuance of injunctlpns In any labor dispute, where auch a dispute is conducted peaceably. GUARD AIR UNIT MAY BE MOVED TO CITY FIELD Municipal Officials Seek to Amend $70,000 Bill to Force Change. Apparently disposed of temporarily by a recommendation for passage, the much buffeted national guard airport funds bill is due for further trials and tribulations in the Indiana house o f representatives. Legislation In preparation today, backed by the city administration, would amend the present $70,000 appropriation bill to prevent its passage unless the One hundred thirteenth observation squadron, Indiana national guard, Is moved from Stout field to the municipal airport. E. Kirk McKinney, president of the Indianapolis works board, said the amendment is in the hands of the Marion county delegation for presentation when the airport bill comes up for third reading. The national guard leases the airport ground at a nominal sum and in turn leases space on the field to T. & W. A., Curtiss-Wright Flying Service, Inc., and the EmbryRiddle Company, air mail contrac-* tors. Steps toward leasing a site for

a hangar and shops at the municipal airport were underway today between operators of the EmbryRtddle air mail and passenger line and municipal airport officials. Transcontinental and Western Air depot is scheduled to be moved from the guard field at Mars Kill to municipal airport next Monday, j The municipally-backed amendment will include the proviso, Me- I Kinney said, that the observation; squadron may rent its quarters at; the nominal sum of $1 annually. The attempt to obtain the national guard quarters for the city airport is in line with a municipal program for concentration there of all local j plane activities, McKinney declared. The amendment to be jiresented by some members of the Marion county delegation does not affect the financial provisions of the bill In its present form, which calls for a $45,000 appropriaton and '525,000 for maintenance over a two-year period. The funds are sought to enable
