Wedding and Fights Staged tv Timet Special OMAHA. Jan. 23—Cowboy Eddie Anderson got married in the fistic ring here Thursday night, the bride being Babe Mathews of Omaha. Following the wedding. Anderson proceeded to defeat Billy Vaughn, local lightweight, in eight rounds. The show was staged in circus Style with cameras clicking and the radio carrying the high lights on the air. The Judge who tied the knot kissed the bride and the referee and Vaughan followed suit. In the main bout of the night Tiger Jack Payne, Omaha heavy, outpointed K. O. Christner, veteran Ohio mauler, eight rounds.
