The forgetfulness of pretty Sheila Mannors, Los Angeles artist, caused the sailing of the liner Calawaii for Honolulu to be delayed the other day. Miss Mannors, laden with lots luggage, reached the pier just before the liner sailed—and then discovered she had completely forgotten to buy a ticket. So the liner was held at the pier while its officials saw to it that Sheila provided herself with the needed documents.

General Motors Truck Cos. 31 W. 13th St. “Direct Factory Branch” During the year 1930 we have sold from this blanch 205 used trucks. This to us is overwhelming proof of the confidence of the used truck buying public in our merchandise and in our methods of doing business. During this same period of time we have sold 84 used and rebuilt G. M. C.s, proof again that once a G. M. C. is purchased it is rarely ever traded in on some other make of truck, as this shows a percentage of 40% resale to former owners. At present time we have anew selection of excellent used G. M. C.s in practically all capacities, and if you have felt that a G. M. C. has been beyond your reach from a standpoint of investment, come in and see these trucks now. They will cost you much less than some trucks whose orginally selling price is less. Y. M. A. C. Terms to Responsible Parties.
