S2O IS TAKEN BY BANDIT IN STORE HOLDUP Manager Is Waiting on a Customer When Stickup Man Enters. Holding Frank Mcllvain, manager of & Standard grocery, 1413 North Illinois street, at the point of a revolver, a bandit early today obtained S2O. Mcllvain told police he war, aiting on Emory Lyons, a customer, when the stickup man entered and drew his revolver. The bandit fled in a taxi driven by Don Reilly, 1005 West Thirtyfourth street. Reilly told police the man left the cab at Meridian and Ohio streets. Lewis Rittle. 2455 North Talbott street, was robbed of $95 Monday night by a bandit who laid in wait nfter he had put his car in the garage in the rear of his home. The man ran down the alley and was described by Rittle as being about :0, nearly six feet tall and slender. He was dressed in a dark hat and suit. The bandit who robbed Carl H. Waggoner, 21, of 1749 West Washington street. Monday night, threw Waggoner’s shoes over a fence to 'prevent him from seeking police. The robbery occurred at Davidson nd Washington streets. Billings today reiterated his intentions of “splitting” with | Thomas J. Mooney, and discussed plans for bringing his case to the attention <jf the United States supreme court and the Wickersham commission. . Both men Mooney at San Quentin and Billings at Folsom —are serving life sentences for the bombj ing of the San Francisco Preparedi ness day parade, in which ten per{sons were killed in 1916. [ “I have no bitterness toward Tom, but I feel I shall further my own ' cause by fighting alone,” Billings ! said. “I always have been opposed ! in my suggestions.
