SLEEPWALKER SLAYS YOUTH, WOUNDS TWO Mother and Sister Are Injured After Stepbrother Is Killed. ' Hy tniteil Prf* NEW YORK, Nov. 24—A sleepwalker, armed with a razor, spread terror and death in his home early today, Brooklyn police reported. Michael FUo>a, 28, police said, stabbed to death Salvatore de Hall, 16, hir, stepbrother, and dangerously slashed his stepsister, Catherine, 14, and his mother. Mrs. Anna de Hall, 49, apparently while still asleep. Attacks Sleeping Family Filosa went to a motion picture show Sunday night and returned home about 11 p. m., when he retired, Thomas P. Cummings, deputy chief police inspector, learned. Shortly after 1 a. m., Mrs. De Hall j was awakened by a sharp pain in : the left side. In the light reflected from a street | lamp, Mrs. De Hall said she saw Michael standing over her bed, a blood-stained razor in his hand. “Michael. Michael! What are you doing? It's me, your mother," police quoted her as saying. He Awakens Suddenly Michael suddenly appeared to awaken at her cries, she said, and horrified, dropped the razor. Mrs. De Hall’s screams roused neighbors who found Filosa, clad only in his night clothes, standing in the hall. Inside the apartment they found Salvatore slashed to death and the mother and daughter in an unconscious condition. JOHNSON WILL SPEAK Butler Commerce Club Will Hold First “Mixer” of Season. Members of the Butler University Commerce Club will hold their first “mixer” of the year at the Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce tonight with Emsley W. Johnson as principal speaker. Johnson. Butler director, will talk on “Speculation." The organization plans to have “mixers” frequently during the year for discussions of various inspection trips to industrial plants and talks by prominent Indianapolis business men.
