HASKELL ARRIVES FOR BUTLER' FRAY

Weller to Face Blue Back Field Star to Lead Redskins Against Bulldogs. Haskell’s rambling Indians, who find time between train rides to play omi hangup football games, arrived here today and were to engage in a limbering up drill at Butler bowl this afternoon in preparation for Saturdays home-coming tilt with the Bulldogs. Coach Dietz’ eleven will be seeking its third victory in twelve days. The Redskins ran over Gonzaga university on Nov. 11, trounced Southern Idaho last Saturday, jumped to Lawrence. Kan., for a short workout, and boarded the train for Indianapolis. The redskin squad is in top shape for the encounter. Captain Louis Weller, speedy ball carrier who has traveled half the length of the field or more in every game but one this season for a touchdown, has re- < overed from an injury which kept him out last Saturday and will be ready to go. Coach Knute Rockne, in a radio interview Wednesday night, stated Weller “has no superior in the midwest” as a back field star. Buster Charles, national A. A. U. decathlon track champion, is another star ball carrier with the redskins. Coach Bell has pronounced his Bulldog squad in top shape for the game despite a hard battle with Purdue last Saturday. > Curly Hinchman, veteran full, and Sammy Pollizzotto, sophomore quarter back, are expected to carry the Butler offensive in Saturday's game.
