Introspection!
MOTHERS and Fathers of today are not thoroughly successful unless they take an inventory of themselves and inspect the status of their homes. TF parents would only ask themselves these simple questions: Am I giving my child the right moral and spiritual background at home? -AM, devoting sufficient time with my boy or girl at home? AA7TLL' my boy be properly fit to assume the responsibilities of * ' American leadership of tomorrow? Am I, as a parent, properly fit to be a fair example for my growing boy or girl? CTATISTICS show that eighty-five per cent of crimes committed today are by youths under twenty years of age. boys are they? And whose responsibility is this? 'T'HE PARENTS—who neglect the home, pay in the long run. T ET us pause just long enough to realize the (drain on the treasury and the lives that are lost chiefly through negligence of ■ parents.

Thirteen billion dollars a year is approximately the amount Uncle Sam loaned the European countries during and after the World War. A ND you should be interested to know that crime is costing us thirteen billion dollars yearly. T ET us not accuse the modern youth of these existing conditions., Let’s trace it back to our own homes where the responsibility really belongs. AX7E must take the burden of this work upon our own ’ ’ shoulders if we are to stop this rising tide of crime. Let us begin with our own homes, and build better characters and better citizens for the future!
