Aw! Shaw George Notices Women’s Clothes, Even If He Is 74.
By United Pres* London, nov. i4.—a man who does not pay attention to his wife's clothes docs not deserve to have a wife, according to George Bernard Shaw, who at 74 still takes an interest in such things. Shaw was stirred to comment by a court incident in which a woman told the magistrate he knew nothing about women’s clothes. The magistrate said he had been married twenty-five years and ought to know. “I will not discuss my domestic affairs,” Shaw said, “but a man can be married fifty years and never know a thing about his wife’s dress except the cost. “Can you imagine a greater source of irritation to a woman when she has bought a pretty frock and her husband never even notices it? Men like that don’t deserve to have wives. “Other men have an eye for women's dress. I am not going to tell you to which class I belong.” Farmers Fear Deer Hunters Peril Bu United Press ELYRIA. 0..
