Moral Trainings a

ly/T ORAL education is a direct obligation on the part of parents. Educators tell us that children who have no moral training at home are very poor fiber for our educational system and a bad influence on other children. A PARENT who willfully neglects moral and ethical training of his children should be held criminally responsible. He is not only neglecting a duty to his own children, but is raising children that are liable to become a menace to society. TF more parents could see the pathetic side of life where young boys and girls are brought into the courts and proclaim that they never had any religious training in the home whatsoever and that their parents were not interested, they would see that their children received a good moral and ethical training at home.

MOST juvenile delinquents today are criminals of tomorrow. And who is to blame? Their parents, of course. "DARENTS, we all owe an obligation to society to provide *■ wholesome morals and religious training for our growing generation. v T ET us follow that simple common law which has been -*- i woven so closely into the fabrics of our lives. We have heard it so often repeated that it has become commonplace. But. if we pick it up and wipe off the tarnish of our own neglect, we will find underneath the same pure glint, “THE GOLDEN RULE.” T ET us practice it, preach it and teach it in all that we do to be a fair example to our youth.
