AIRMAIL LINE TO OPERATE IN FIFTEEN DAYS T. A. TANARUS, Officials Predict New Route Will Be Starter! Quickly. Prediction that coast-to-coast airmail service through Indianapolis will be operating within fifteen rtayg', was made by T. A. T. officials h“re today. Anew company will operate the line under contract awarded to the Transcontinental Air Transport and Western Air Express, with each old company having equal holdings. Organization of this company, to be called the Transcontinental and Western Air, Inc., was announced iollowing a meeting of officials in New r York Thursday. Part of the new company's stocfc will be owned by the Pittsburgh Aviation Industries, recently affiliated with T. A T. C M. Keys. T. A. T. chairman, will be chairman of the new company and Harris M. Hanshue, Western Air president, will be president. Other officers will include; r> M. Sheafler of the- Pennsylvania tailroad executive committee chairman: J. L. Maddux T. Whale of Yarn KADIAK, Alaska., Oct. 3 Use of the airplane for scouting various fishes has been successful in many places, but an unusual sight was revealed to Frank Doxbandt as he flew high above Cooks inlet recently Fully a thousand whales played and sported in the sea under him and to assure himself of their numbers he circled over them several times. Spouting, rolling and diving, the whales seemed given more to basking in the sun than to seeking or pursuing any species of food fish. Some kinds of whales migrate in late summer to the couth and it is possible the pilot noted one of these movements.
