Bm United I’rctt MIAMI, Fla., Sept. 24—David Weinberg, 44. a tailor, was tarred •nd leathered Tuesday night by a group of men vvho finally threw their victim from an automobile. Wrapped in a sheet, Weinberg hailed a woman motorist and was taken to a hospital. Police said today they believed the attack was prompted by purported Communistic utterances of Weinberg. The tailor said his captors questioned him about a book in his possession written by Bishop William Brown of Gallon. O. Weinberg's condition was serious.
