Kan., Sept. 20—Bewildered by the tangled marital relations of their 20-year-old flying daughter, the parents of Ruth Alexander, who was killed in a crash Lear San Diego, awaited today the return of her body to Irving. Information that the girl flier had been married three times, and divorced only o*ce. was a shock to her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Blaney. They had been preparing to mee* her in Wichita, the one scheduled stop in her attempted transcontinental flight, when news of her death reached them. Married Three Times That the aviator had been married three times was revealed after her death. Until that time, her family and friends thought her married only to Mac P. Alexander, Olathe (Kans.) farmer. Shortly after her death it was learned she had been married to Ensign Robert Elliott, navy flier, last June 21. She left letters addressed to “My Husband. Bob,” in which she revealed a premonition of death. It was not until late Friday that the other marriage was revealed. Her first union was with AI don Fanuelson of Cleburne. Kan., whom she secretly divorced in Richmond Mo., in 1926. She married Alexander two years later.
Father Hardware Merchant Mrs. Alexander lived with the Olathe farmer only a few months, it was revealed, then left for San Diego to learn to fly. Alexander filed divorce proceedigs in March of this year, charging abandonment. She offered no contest, and the suit still is pending. “Ruth never did like the farm.
