DELEGATES ARE REPORTING FOR LODGESESSION 15,000 Expected to Attend Odd Fellows Meeting Next Week. Advance delegates and grand lodge officials began arriving today for the first session of the international convention of Odd Fellows Saturday night. Headquarters for the convention, which will close Sept. 20, are at the Claypool. Among officers arriving Thursday were J. Edward Kroh. Baltimore, grand secretary of the sovereign grand lodge, and Edgar B. Pohlman, Baltimore, assistant grand secretary. Odd Fellow lodges of Indianapolis and the state are expecting to entertain 15,000 delegates during the convention, together with those attending the twenty-ninth annual convention of the Patriarch’s Militant unit and the sixteenth annual session of the Assocation of Rebekah Assemblies. First event on the program will be presentation of the patriarch's militant degree by Canton Capital 42, in the Odd Fellow building Saturday night. Sunday has ben set aside for religious services and a trip to the Odd Fellows’ home, Greensburg. Regular business sessions will start Monday in the assembly hall of the I. O. O. F. building. Kemmer, Lafayette, and Earl Crawford, Connersvillc. _l PUPILS ON STRIKE 150 Highschoolers Protest Increase in Hours. S WATERTOWN, Mass., Sept 12. Watertown high school students were expected to continue their strike for shorter hours today. A seventy-five-minute increase in school hours at the opening of the school year led some 150 youngsters, boys and girls, to desert at 1:30 recess Thursday and march through the downtown section in protest. The parade ended at the town hall school committee rooms, where a plate glass door was smashed, and George McNamara, football player, was arrested. McNamara denied breaking the glass but said he would pay for it and was released. Huntingburg Editor Dies HUNTINGBURG, Ind., Sept. 12. Funeral services were held Thursday for Louis H. Katter, 70, editor of the Huntingburg Argus, who died Monday after a long illness.
