MR. AUGUSTUS KING —-Pboto by National Studio. Consider, for example, the case of Mr. Augustus King. 72, of 443 Arbor avenue, this city. Then determine to learn about this famous medicine from the Konjola Man at t.;t Hook Dependable Drug Store, Illinois and Washington streets, Indianapolis. Ask questions; get Konjola's record, but right now read what Mr. King said to the Konjola Man: "For ten years I was in poor health. My stomach was in a terriblp condition, a id I had little or no appetite. I suffered from gas and stomach pains; my kidneys became weaker; my back ached and my rest was broken five or six times a night. I had dizzy spells and headaches. "But Konjola proved to be a different medicine. I developed a good appetite before I finished the second bottle. My strength returned and headaches and dizzy spells vanished. I took Konjola for three months, and now I feel like a different man.” Konjola contains no alcohol, no nerve-deadening drugs, no heartdepressing chemicals. The Konjola Man is at the Hook Dependable Drug Store, Illinois and Washington streets, this city, where daily he is meeting the public and telling all about Konjola and its Iworks. charges without giving them time to hire attorneys and while their habeas corpus actions were pending in McGoorty’s court. The gangsters sentenced were Israel Alderman and Joseph Condi, both of whom have long police records. McGoorty and Lyle held a midnight conference over the matter, and it was vindicated Lyde might have to re-try the men after their hearing in McGoorty’s court on the habeas corpus proceedings. Lyle’s other controversy, which almost developed into a fist fight, was with John H. Alcock, acting police commissioner, who criticised Lyle for dismissing the cases of almost one hundred men whom Alcock’s officers charged with gambling and other misdemeanors. “Bring in some crooks, I can't be bothered with these petty offenders,” was, in effect, Lyle’s attitude in dismissing the cases. Judge Lyle has been waging a relentless war on crime for several weeks. Twice he has called police captains before him and ordered them to “bring in every known gangster in the city.”
