STATE MAY BUY FARMS TO AID SCHOOL FUNDS Southern Indiana Land May Be Purchased, Township Units Abolished. State Forester Ralph Wilcox's plan for the state to buy out southern Indiana hill farmers and turn tne land into state forests may be recommended in a modified form to the state aid school commission. This announcement was made by Wilcox following an airplane survey of the districts on which he was accompanied by State Repreientative George W. Miss Laura Donnan, former Indianapolis public school and Shortridge high school teacher since 1905, who died today at St. Vincent’s hospital. She was injured several weeks ago when she fell at Illinois and Ohio streets. She lived at 232 North Capitol avenue. .
