UNLUCKY CREW READY FOR NEW NONSTOP TRIP flew York to Buenos Aires Aviators Lose Backers After Plane Crashes. U* i mite* Vr., BOSTWICK. G rt . July 17—The luckless cre% of the airplane K. of New Haven may make another attempt to fly from New York to Buenos Aires witnout stopping, but It appeared today that the project would need new' backing. Garland Heed Jr., Jimmy Garringer and 1-ar.dy Ens'.cw, who parachuted to earth Wednesday when a dense fog and rainstorm stopped their progress toward the South American capital, are willing to try again, but advices from New York said the financial supporters of the flight—which now has failed twice—did not contemplate further expenditures. The backers were satisfied the three fliers did everything they could to make the project a success, and attached no biame to them for jumping from the plane after hours of "blind" flying in thick weather.
