106 ARE NAMED AS DIRECTORS AT CITYPARKS Prepare for Opening of Playground Season Here June 16. Preparations for the opening of the playground season, June 16, ware begun today with the appointment of 106 recreation department employes Thursday by the city park board. Qualifications of the applicants were considered first, although many were named on recommendation of the Democratic organization. Majority o! the list is Democratic. Mayor Reginald H. Sullivan and the board expressed the belief that the staff will be efficient, pointing out that many are college trained experts in athletics. The ages of those chosen range from 18 to 35. Recreation Director David Kilgore will conduct a school of instruction for instructors, June 1214 at Brookside community house. Those appointed: Supervisor men's athletics. Robert Nipper.
