Dinner Will Be Given for Visiting Pair Miss Evelyn Barnes and Miss Marea Haueisen will entertain tonight with dinner at the Indianapolis Athletic Club in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Fritz Remshardt, Heilbronn, Germany, who are visiting Mrs. Remshardt's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gavin L. Payne, Williams Creek Estates. The dinner table will be centered with a low bowl of spring flowers, with a plateau of the same flowers at each end. and will be lighted by pastel tapers. Covers will be laid for Mr. and Mrs. Remshardt, Miss Barnes, Miss Haueisen. Mr. and Mrs. Jchn James Cooper, Mr. and Mrs. William Kern, Mr. and Mrs. Rudolf Haerle, Mr. and Mrs. William Jungclaus, Mr. and Mrs. William Averill Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. William McComber, Kendallville; Miss Hope Pfafflin, Miss Caroline Sweeney, Miss Caroline Richardson, Jeremiah Cadick, Francis Brosnan, Theodore Severin, Paul Martin, William Wemmer, William Koethe and Fritz Wetzel. Open Entry for Doll Festival Slated May 17 Recreation department city parks Invite all the dolls in town to the Doll festival on Saturday, May 17, at the following community houses: Garfield park. Brookside park, Rhodius park. Municipal gardens, Greer street, Brightwood and J. V. T. Hill. The Mothers’ clubs of the community houses will be hostesses, and will award prizes for the best doll in a national costume, the most original doll, and the best homemade doll. The winners from the various festivals will meet at Sculpture court at the Herron Art Institute at 2, Saturday, May 24. At this time, the grand winners will be selected. All the dolls must be accompanied by their little mothers to insure good behavior.
MISS RENN ELECTED BY BUTLER GROUP
Miss Florence Renn, 4189 Carrollton avenue, has been elected president of the Butler University Woman’s League, an orgaization composed of all women on the campus. Other officers elected were Ina Lawrence, vice-president; Elizabeth Dalman. secretary, and Margaret Barker, treasurer. Installation of officers will be held before the close of the school in June. Dean Evelyn Butler is sponsor of the organization. Miss Renn is a member of Chimes, woman’s honorary, and Alpha Chi Omega.
PENWOMEN MEMBERS ARE GUESTS AT TEA
Mrs. Ovid Butler Jameson, 1035 North Pennsylvania street, entertained members of the Indianapolis branch of the League of American Penwomen at tea Thursday afternoon in honor of Mrs. Ernest Bross, who will leave next week for a trip abroad Clusters of red roses were used ln the drawing room, and the tea table was centered with a bowl of yellow tulips and lilies-of-the-val-ley. Mrs. Charles N. Williams poured, assisted by Miss Nora Doll. Mrs. Charles E. Coffin was a guest. Hold Meeting Members of the Mineola council 31 D. of P. held a meeting Wednesday night. Mrs. Bessie Meadows, Walcott, and Mrs. L. Cherry Ross, Shelbyville, were guests of honor. Supper was served at tables decorated with lilies of the valley and tulips.

Club Delegates to Make Tour of Indianapolis Miss Theta Byrkett, chairman of the transportation committee of the annual state convention of the Indianapolis Business and Professional Women’s Clubs, announces the following plans: Automobiles at the Claypool at 10:30 Sunday morning, to take delegates and guests to churches and also to the Riley hospital. There will be two lines of cars. Those going tb the Riley hospital will be next the curb. Drivers are asked to return to the Claypool for additional passengers. The Riley autos will be led by a corps of police. Sunday at 3, sixteen busses, lead by a corps of police, will take delegates on a trip through the city. Machines will take those who cannot be accommodated in the busses.
