Marcus Dickey in Address to Business Club Marcus Dickey will address the Indianapolis Business and Professional Women's Club at its last meeting before the state convention. The meeting will be held Thursday* night at the Woman’s Department Clubhouse. Miss Alexandria Sherwood, R. Hartley Sherwood s daughter, became the bride of Geoffrey Deane Johnston last Saturday at the Sherwood home, 2847 North Meridian street. The young couple will make their home in Belfast, Ireland. Alexandra’s wedding was followed the next day by the wedding of her maid of honor.’Miss Margaret Harrison, who was married to George Simmons Dailey. Mrs. Johnston was matron of honor at the ceremony. Miss Agnes Larmore, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James M. Larmore, Anderson, will marry Francis Jeremiah McCarthy, son of Mrs. Margaret McCarthy, 2530 Talbott avenue, in Anderson, June 7. Bride-Elect Is Honored at Shower Mrs. William A. Stewart entertained with a surprise bridal shower Friday night at her home. 2056 Central avenue, in honor of Mrs. Harold Hansen, who before her marriage April 26, was' Mary Alice Clendening. Decorations were carried out in the bridal colors, coral, apple green and egg shell. The rooms were decorated with baskets of spring flowers. The table at serving time was centered with a basket of apple blossoms, gifts were presented in a treasure chest. Miss Mickey McShane, Miss Ernestine Walker, and Miss Bobby Stevens danced. City Girl Is Bride at Cathedral Miss Harriet Grunder, daughter of D. A. Grunder, 30 Drexel avenue, became the bride this morning at 8, of Hugh Hogan, son of Mrs. Kathleen Hogan, 2944 Ruckle street. The ceremony was performed at Ss. Peter and Paul cathedral, by the Rev. George Dunn. Preceding and during the ceremony, Miss Helen Shepard, organist, played a program of bridal music. Miss Eleanor Hill was the bride’s only attendant. She "wore beige lace, with matching lace hat and slippers, and carried an arm bouquet of yellow roses. Jack Hogan was his brother’s best man. The bride wore a gown of white lace and crepe, made with a lace yoke and long lace sleeves. She carried a bride’s bouquet of white roses. Following the ceremony, a breakfast was served at the home of the bridegroom’s mother. Mr. and Mrs. Hogan have gone to Chicago for a week. The bride traveled in a tan printed crepe frock with a velvet coat, an dtan accessories. They will be at home, after May 10, at 849 North Rural street. Cards, Dancing in Program of Church Group A spring festival will be given by members of the Men’s Club and the Woman's Club of St. Joan of Arc’s church Wednesday in the parish hall. There will be a card party at 8:15 and a dance from 9 to 12. Special entertainment will be given for children who attend with their parents.
