CANTATA WILL BE PRESENTED BY CAST OF 79 Parent-Teacher Group of Fletcher School to Sponsor Play. With a cast of seventy-nine pupils the parent-teacher association of Calvin Fletcher school will present ft cantata, “The Childhood of Hiawatha,” In the auditorium r*f Manual Training high school at 7:30 tonight. Principal parts will be played by George Schofield, as Iagoo; Rossella Passwaiter, as Nokomis, and Francis Ferraro and Paul Dodd, as Hiawatha. Indian dances will be given by twelve pupils including Donald Acton, Eugene Archer, Ernest Adkins, Donald Brooks. Edward Brown, Kenneth Curry. 'James Hancock, James Hiatt, Earl Hunt, Harvey Powers, Randolph Wallace and Richard Wilcoxen. The production is directed by Miss Pearl Lloyd assisted by Mrs. Lois Hoelscher and committee members, Paul Miller, Mrs. Mary Scholl and Miss Elvina Stammel. ITALY, HOLLAND FILMS TO BE SHOWN PUPILS Travel Movies Slated Saturday at Childrens’ Museum. Mrs. Hiram Raffensberger will show travel films of Italy and Holland at the school children’s program in the Children's museum, 1150 North Meridian street, Saturday morning. Some of these pictures were taken from an airplane. The program is tree. Approximately 150 pupils of the Mooresville grade school will be guests of the museum Saturday afternoon. Business men of Mooresville are sponsoring the trip and will bring the children here in automobiles. The newly appointed junior board of directors of the museum will act as guides for the trip through the museum.

been increased by one skull, recently : unearthed in a quarry on the north- j eastern outskirts of Rome. The find 1 is reported by a young Italian scien- J tist. Professor Sergio Sergei. The skull is that of a woman.. very closely similar in type to the original Neanderthal skull found at Gibraltar many years ago. Its brain

capacity is the same, 1.2000 cubic centimeters. While many stone implements of the type produced by the Neanderthalers previously have been found in Italy, this is the first find ever made of actual bones of this ancient, powerful, brutal-ap-pearing, but undoubtedly human, species.
