WORK ON FINCH PARK DISCUSSED BY CITY BOARD Walks, Fountain, Shrubbery Needed. Asserts South Side School Head. The plea of a south side delegat.on for development o f Finch park was considered today by a committee named by the park board. Miss Lena Swope, principal of •i"Pool No. 39, located two blocks away, Thursday appeared before the park board and asked beautification of the park. Need for construction of sidewalks, a drinking fountain, planting of shrubs and trees, was stressed by Miss Swope. Gasper Wagner, 1409 North Warman avenue, headed a delegation asking improvement of Municipal Gardens property and lawn. The request was referred to Superitendent Charles Salles and David Kilgore, recreation director. "The park board has been doing too much for the schools in the way of planting shrubs. The school board has a budget the same as we have.” Adolph G Emhardt, park president, said in commenting on requests for park board aid in planting trees and shrubs. The board voted to loan plants only in cases of city functions. On motion of John E. Milnor, former president, the board voted, to prohibit use of community houses to organizations charging admission for benefits. Jackiel W. Josephus, Democratic commissioner, opposed the motion, declaring he believed that benefit parties were permissible if the funds were to be used for charitable purposes. Kilgore was authorized to attend the mid-west recreation conference at Milwaukee. March 7-9. Here is what Mrs. Sulgrove said to The Konjola Man about her case: "I suffered with a painful ailment of the stomach and kidneys for eight years. Try as I would. I could find no relief from my troubles. Accumulated stomach gases after the simplest meal bloated me until the cramping pains were frightful and 1 became short of breath and dizzy. I had severe back pains and frequent bladder actions. My feet and ankles became so swollen that I was forced to go to bed where 1 remained nearly helpless for three months. I seemed to grow worse instead of better with each treatment or medipine I tried. “I had little faith in any medicines but by the time I had completed my fifth bottle of Konjola I was so improved in health that I left my bed and began to get about again. My stomach scarcely ever troubles me now and my kidneys are functioning perfectly. I no longer have dizzy spells and headaches. The swelling has completely left my feet and ankles and neither give me any pain or inconvenience. Bladder actions are normal and my nerves are in better condition than they have been in years. In fact my' general health is so improved that I am enjoying life and my work is no longer drudgery.” There is a real lesson to be learned from these grateful endorsements. Why not give Konjola a chance in your case? The expense is inconsiderable and there is much reason for hope. The Konjola Man is at Hook's dependable drug store. Illinois and Washington streets.
