PASTORS WILL DELIVER THEIR CHRISTMAS MESSAGES
Men’s Bible Class and Other Sunday School Organizations Will Present Beautiful Cantatas and Splendidly Directed Religious Pageants. A SPECIAL Christmas program will be presented at the Christian Men Builders' class, young men’s Bible class of the Third Christian church. Seventeenth and Broadway, Sunday morning in the form of a Biblical drama, presented by members and friends of the organisation. It is entitled "The Holy Christmas Night” and presents the story of th* night on which the Christ was bora. The scene is in the Inn at Bethlehem and offers a most unusual viewpoint of the Christmas story. The innkeeper and his wife, played by Arthur F. Oemmer and Miss Virginia Stout, open the scene, and others following are: Joseph, R. W. Lookabill; Mary, Mrs. Earl Sweeney; a
traveler, James Jay; rich Pharisee. Bernard Newell; runner, Burris Adams; the Wise Men, O. J. Latta, Hugh Thatcher Jr. and Ray Harrington: Shepherds, Earl Robinson, Carl Kimmel, Burris Adams and James Jay. The drama closes with a beautiful tableau showing the Interior of the stable with Mary, mother of the infant Jesus, singing to her babe cradled in the manger. Preparations are being made to handle an audience of at least 600 and there will be three additional microphones in order that the program may be effectively broadcast over WFBM, station of the Indianapolis Power and Light Company.

I the “White Gifts for the King" i service in the form of a pageant, j “Christmas Bells.” The pageant is ; quite musical and fortunately embodies many of the cherished and familiar Christmas melodies. The following persons are the characters in the pageant. Miss Mildred Hughes, Miss Margaret Beckwith, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Clinard, Mrs. Mabel Schemekau, Willard Cameron, Fred Hofmark, Morris Korn inger, Charles Null, Charles Ruede and Morris Romlnger Jr. and a ■group of primary and intermediate children. After the pageant the Moravian candle service will take place. This consists of the distribution of lighted candles to every one in the church, young and old. the singing of one or more Christmas hymns, and the story by the minister, of Jesus being the Light of the World, while the church is lighted only by the candles in the hands of the children and other worshippers.
