Sokollkov, newly appointed Soviet ambassador to Great Britain, presented his credentials today to the Prince of Wales, in the throne room of St. James palace. The Russian ambassador and his suite arrivad at the palace in two state carriages, and were received with all the ceremony usually accorded foreign diplomats. An indictment returned against him charges he struck the woman over the head with a deadly weapon while committing robbery for which life imprisonment is the penalty.
