MILK FIRMS TO DELAY DELIVERY SEVERN HOURS Changed Morning Schedule Adopted Because of Health Reasons. Change In hours of milk delivery from early morning to "after breakfast” was announced today by two large Indianapolis dairy concerns. A third is contemplating the change, although its wagons now operate on a comparatively late schedule. The change advocated by Dr. Herman Morgan, city health commissioner, will be instituted Dec. 17 on all Polk Sanitary Milk Company and William H. Roberts & Sons milk lines north of Fall Creek boulevard. Other routes of these firms will adopt the new schedule as quickly as possible. In- tead of loading wagons and

leaving the stations at midnight, during the winter, the wagons will not depart earlier than 5 a. m. At a meeting of fifty wagon salesmen of the Polk company recently, Dr. Morgan pointed out that health of the drivers was endangered by work through the cold, early morning hours. Better quality milk is obtained he added, when it is not frozen in delivery, or when left for several hours on a doorstep. He also pointed out that the wagons, unlighted except for small lamp, figured In many accidents which probably would be avoided in daylight. Consumers will receive milk about five or six hours later than at present, said dairy company officials. Midnight will be resumed in the spring. Carey <fe Sons Company will change to the "after breakfast” delivery soon, officials said. Convicted of Burglary Roy Nelson, 25, and Clarence Jackson, 31, were sentenced to the sttae reformatory for three to ten years each by Criminal Judge James A. Collins today for burglary of the Arthur Huffman store at Acton on Nov. 6.
