RADIO SNOW TO BE GIVEN WITH AIR MARATHON i Fans at Endurance Contest Will Get Chance to See Late Models. Fans who attend The Times Sylvania Foresters listeners endurance contest at the Lyric Ballroom will have opportunity to see a miniature radio show. Local radio distributors cooperating in the contest will have all their late models on display and every one will have the opportunity of listening to the new outfits. These sets will be tuned in for the endurance contest and will include both screen-grid and straight tuned circuits, giving those interested a chance to compare values. Wagner Shows Late Models The Wagner Radio Company, distributors of Atwater Kent, will show two of the latest screen-grid models, including the new Atwater Kent table model. Duco Corporation of Indiana will show two new All-American Lyric radios, one screen-grid and a ten-tube neutrodyne. George Stalker of the W. J. Holliday Company, Zei.ith distributors, ha-s arranged to display the new fifteenth anniversary models, while the Em-Roe Sporting Goods Company will send the new Earl and Kellogg models. The. Stegman Ra o Company will show for the first time the new Howard, which will include the screengrid model as well as the nine-tube neutrodyne Kruse Radio will be represented with the latest Crosley screen-grid models, while the Crescent Paper Company will show sev* eral new Freed creations in both highboy and lowboy consoles. New Sets on Display Riser Bros. & Cos. will show for the first time the new' General Motors Day-Fan sets. The Griffith Victor Distributing Corporation will display the new Victor radio and the Victor phonograph and radio combination. Should there be any time in the early morning hours that it is impossible to receive radio programs, the contestants will listen to the latest Victor records played on the Victor combination. All sets will be equipped completely with Sylvania radio tubes by H. J. Arens & Cos., distributors of Sylvania products. One of the outstanding features will be the broadcasting of station WKBF. Through courtesy of the management the local station will go on the air several times daily. During these broadcasts the entertainment will be provided by the management of the Lyric theater. Contestants also will be heard during these periods, when they will tell Just how it feels to stay awake and listen to radio programs and ho\y long they expect the contest w ill last. Representatives of the state bureau were here at the request* of Joseph H. Himelick. Summitville. president of the county organization, to instruct membership solicitors in methods of interesting farmers in becoming associated with the bureau.
