Recovers Health. Alter years of torture from stomach and kidney trouble. Mr. John F. Bott, 625 West Chestnut street, Freeport, 111, suddenly shook off all his ailments and recovered his health. His letter explains it, as follows: “For fifteen years I had stomach trouble and kidney weakness. After eating. I would bloat with gas and suffer intense pain, followed by sick headache. My kidney trouble disturbed my sleep, and my back ached so terribly I could hardly drag myself home from work, and I was ready to drop the minute I got inside the door. I couldn’t sleep, and all day long I felt weak, dizzy, and lazy. Medicines seemed unable to help me, and life was nothing but misery to me until I started taking Viuna. In short order I was a changed man. I can now eat big, hearty meals with no gas. no pains, •fid no headache. My kidneys seem to be fine again, and I wake up every morning feeling rested and ready for work. The awful backache Is gone, and I can now enjoy walking to and from the shop. I feel stronger and better each day, and it is wonderful to know that my long illness is over at last." There must be something different, something truly wonderful about a medicine which has promptly ended so many severe cases of backache, stomach trouble, kidney pains and rheumatism. JUDGE not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Or how wilt thou say to thy brother. Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye: and, behold a beam is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye. . • . Ask, and it shall be given you: seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. . . If y e then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?— Matthew 7:1-11. NEWSPRINT HIKE IS FAVORED BY TWOPREMIERS Canadian Provincial Heads Decide Price Boost Is Necessary. Bu United Press MONTREAL, Que., Nov. 27. Premiers L. A. Taschereau of Quebec and G. Howard Ferguson of Ontario have agreed that S6O a ton, instead of $55, is the fair and equitable return for newsprint paper, on the ground that the current price does not offer a fair return for depletion of the country’s natural wealth. The premiers’ decision was announced here by Taschereau, after a conference with Ferguson, Tuesday night. Some paper manufacturers have long term contracts with publishers at $55 a ton, Taschereau said, but this is not sufficient cause to retain

The Long Distance Telephone is the Modern Thanksgiving Greeting

Thanksgiving at home has lost none of its charm with the passing years; the long and usually cold trip to Grandmother’s home in the country was an occasion that left us thankful for many days. Distances, however, and the press of modern affairs sometimes seek to rob us of such pleasures today . . . but the Telephone takes our voices quickly and easily to the home folks wherever they are, and leaves lasting impressions of thoughtfulness and occasion for real Thanksgiving.
