BODIES OF FIVE ARE RECOVERED IN STORE RUINS Blame Boiler Safety Valve for Blast Injuring 30 Persons. WASHINGTON. Nov. 22.—Five persons were dead today and more than thirty others injured, three critically, as a result of the boiler explosion which wrecked the front of McCrory five-and-ten cent store here Thursday. The blast, coming at the height of the afternoon shopping period, hurled men and women in all directions and carried many to the basement of the store when the sidewalk in front of the building collapsed.
