B.—Holiday deaths from “poison boose" are to be few during the approaching Christmas season, it was predicted officially today. Prohibition Commissioner James M. Doran gave assurance the treasury has eliminated almost completely the possibility of bootleggers converting denatured alcohol into drinkable liquor. The sixty-flve denaturing formulas now in use by the treasury, Doran explained, make it extremely difficult for bootleggers to redistill the alcohol ijito a palatable product.
