SENATE ASKED TO CONDEMN BINGHAM ACT Norris Offers Resolution Assailing Connecticut Man’s Course. ft u T nitrd Prcn* WASHINGTON. Nov. I.—A resolution proposing to condemn the art ions of Senator Hiram Bingham (Rep.. Conn.) as “contrary to good morals and senatorial ethics and tending to bring the senate into dishonor and disrepute” was intoduced in the senate today by Chairman George W. Norris of the senate Judiciary committee. After Bingham had declined privately to make an apology on the floor of the senate for his employ- ! ment of Charles L. Eyanson of the j Connecticut Manufacturers’ Assoelation, or for his charge that the senate lobby investigating commit- i tee was packed politically against him, Norris took the course he had been threatening for several days, j Upon objection of Senator Simeon i D Fess (Rep., O.), consideration j of the resolution was prevented im- i mediately. It will be brought up i again Saturday under the rules oi j the senate. Bingham sat in his regular senate ; seat, his chin propped in his left j hand as Norris told the senate that : the facts involved in the Bingham case were not disputed. “Senator Bingham arose here re- j eently to a question of personal privilege and, in language which I ! believe was discourteous, assailed ! ♦he senate judiciary committee by | name and its chairman,” Norris j said, "at the same time not denying but admitting all the material j facts as reported to the senate by j the. lobbying investigating commit- : tee.” CITY BANKER RENAMED BY U. SOON GETS RID OF BILIOUSNESS Georgia Man Tells How He Takes Black-Draught When Bilious. In telling how Thedford's BlackDraught has helped to keep him well, Mr O. A. Aldrich, of Valdosta, Ga., says: “Black-Draught is a good medicine. I began taking it when just a boy, for biliousness and as a laxative. “When I get bilious, my mouth has a bad taste and I get dizzy, feel light-headed. A few doses of Black-Draught usually make me feel like new. It seems to cleanse my system of impurities, my he*d gets clearer, and the bad taste is gone from my mouth. • I am a rather healthy, stron” man, taking very little medicine, except for the dizziness I mentioned. “It is good to know that there is a good laxative like BlackDraught to take and give quick relief.” Thedford's Black-Draught is prepared from medicinal roots and herbs, of highest quality, finely powdered, carefully combined and packaged by automatic machinery. Easv to take—no disagreeable aft- j er-effects. Price 25 cents.
