Tinted Fags By United Brets LONDON, Oct. 18.—Cigarets in tints to match her frocks is the latest fashionable vogue of Miss London. Moreover, the cigaret holder, if one is used, also must harmonie both with the cigaret and the frock. That is one of the discoveries of a “smoke” survey of London, which also revealed: Cigaret smoking among women has increased 100 per cent in three years. The per capita consumption of cigarets in England is-con-siderably higher than in the United States.
consulting engineer to aid him in the Insull merger is no reflection on Wenger's ability. He did admit that it would be better to make genuine appraisals of physical properties than merely to lift the figures from the company books. He contended that the present engineering staff is the best procurable for the money. Wenger defended the method of making appraisals as being ‘‘the only practical way,” and pointed out that it is used by bond houses in arriving at valuations for security issues. The latter statement merely increased the Mclntosh objection. The world’s oldest fairly tale was written some 4,000 years ago.
