Musicale to Have Guest Day Oct. 18 The Indianapolis matinee musicale will open its fifty-second season with a president’s day musicale tea at the John Herron Art Insitute Friday afternoon, Oct. 18. This will be the only guest day of the club year. Miss Jane Johnson, voice winner of the last state contest, assisted by Miss Louise Mason Caldwell and Miss Helena Sipe, pianists, will present the musical program. The organization now has four separate groups, the active section, of which Mrs. Robert E. Blakeman is president; student section of which Miss Lucille Stewart is president; junior section with Mrs. D. E. Gruber as chairman, and the choral section of which Mrs. Willis B. Parker is president. The choral section, anew addition, was organized Sept. 20 and has a membership of sixty. This section meets at the Y. W. C. A. Gita Gradove has been secured to present the November program which will be given Nov. 8. Ratan Devi w'ill apepar under auspices of the organization Dec. 6. A Christmas benefit program, open to the public, will be presented by the boys’ choir of Christ church Dec. 22 at the Roberts Park Methodist Episcopal church. Cheston Heath is director. Arthur Durham. Chicago organist, will appear at a later date on the musicale calendar, the place to be announced later. Luncheon Bridge Is Honor for Two Brides-Elect,

Mrs. Erick Erane of Elkhart, the bride’s sister, will be her only attendant. She will v/ear a brown georgette frock, with accessories to match, and carry an arm bouquet of yellow roses. Marion Pearson, Greenwood, will be best man. The bride will wear blue georgette, trimmed with transparent velvet, blue accessories and carry an arm bouquet of pink roses.
