Sept. 27.—Two more important developments today ■were added to the fteht over alleged laxity of prohibition enforcement in the national capital. United States Attorney Leo Rover Issued a formal statement saying he would be "very glad” to have Senator Brookhart (Rep., la.) appear and testify before the October grand Jury regarding a senatorial dinner at which, it was said, liquor was sewed in individual pocket flasks. Bishop James Cannon Jr., ardent dry, and chairman of the Methodist board of temperance, prohibition, and public morals, today entered the controversy over the alleged wetness of Washington by demanding congress introduce any additional legislation necessary to make Washington "a model of prohibition enforcement,.” “The people of the country,” Cannon said, ‘‘have a right to expect
