Mustard Dressing One tablespoon of prepared mustard, one tablespoon of sugar, two tablespoons of vinegar, one small can of condensed cream. Mix mustard and sugar with vinegar, then add the cream. Heat soup to boiling point, add cheese, grated and stir until cheese is melted, not allowed to boll, add celery and pepper and serve on buttered toast. MRS. C. E. One cup Grape Nuts, 2 scant cups combread crumbs, 1-3 teaspoon salt, 1 tablespoon sage, 2 cups bread crumbs, % cup melted butter, 1-3 teaspoon pepper and 1 tablespoon minced onion. MRS. Mexican StewThree long strips of bacon, six tablespoons of rice, one large can of tomatoes, three medium-sized onions, one teaspon of salt, sprinkling of paprika. Cut bacon in halfinch pieces and fry until delicately brown in three or four-quart saucepan or kettle. While it is frying, wash the rice, open tomatoes, and cut onions fine. When bacon is crisp, add rice. Stir constantly until the rice is golden brown, then add onions. Cook five minutes and add tomatoes and seasonings. Cook slowly forty-five minutes. NAOMI CONNER.
