MANSLAUGHTER CHARGES FILED AGAINST THREE Roscoe Allison Is Indicted for Causing Death of Mrs. Ida Davis. Roscoe Allison, detained in the county jail since June 23, was under indictment today on a charge of voluntary manslaughter in connection with the death of Mrs. Ida M. Davis. Allison's indictment was one of nine returned by the grand jury Tuesday. Allison is charged with pushing Mrs. Davis from the porch of the Allison home, causing her head to strike a cement walk and injuries which caused her death. Patrick Higgins and Robert Lpvark were charged with involuntary manslaughter by the grand jury, and Carroll Beatty. Theodore Edwards, Albert Anderson and George Chasteen were indicted on statutory counts. Higgins is accused of fatally injuring Betty Burkert. when his auto struck her May 28 at Thirtieth and Rader streets. Lewark is charged with the death of Dilma McAfee, whom he is alleged to have struck June 17 at 2317 Station street, while driving an automobile under the influence of liquor. Hit-Skip Drivers Held Harold Hallett and Clyde Sanders, both of Michigan, were to be returned today from Anderson, where they were arrested in connection with the injury of Addie Smith. 37. Negro.
