SEVERAL ROADS OILED IN STATE : DURING WEEK Highways Put in Dustless Column by Use of Calcium Chloride. Director John J. Brown of the -•ate highway department today railed attention to several strips of maintained road that have been put nto the dustless class during the week by the use of oil and calcium chloride. The roads are listed in the weekly traffic bulletin, which gives general conditions as follows: Road 1 Milan-Versailles traffic use marked detour as 50 is closed Irotn junction with 1 to Versailles. Narrow and many sharp turns between Batesville and Metamcra. Hoad 2 —Detour trom Illinois-Indiana l:ne to Junction of 2 and 41 is five and three-quarter miles. Detour from onehalf mile wetst of Westville io Junction of 2 and 43 north of Westville is two and one-haif miles. Detour Near Muncie Road 3- Detour from three miles north of Mt. Summit to one mile south of Muncje is nine miles. Detour from Hartford City to six miles north Is eight miles. Detour from flat north to Petroleum Is etght miles. Run around one-half mile north of Relffsburg. Road 7—Detour from three and one-half miles north of Wirt to Du Pont is seven miles. Detour fair but narrow. Road 19--Run around three miles south of Huntington. Detour from Merriam to flvs miles south of Albion is six miles and will change as work progresses. Road 10—Detour from one and one-half miles west, of Bass Lake to east end of Bass Lake on 29 Is seven miles. , Bridge Run Around Road 15- Detour at La Fountaine is one msle. Detour from LoFountaine to three miles southt of Wabash is ten miles. Detour from Wabash north Is three miles.
