Weak After Operation
"About five months ago, following an operation for appendicitis I did not gain strength enough to be up and about. My mother and sister advised me to take Lydia E. Pinkham’s Vegetable Compound. I have taken five bottles and it has helped me to get strong so I can do my own housework now. I have recommended it to several friends who have been weak and rundown.” —Mrs. Oscar Ottum , Box 474, Thief River Falls, M inn.

Evading the posses encircling the outlaws’ retreat, she crawled through the underbrush bringing food, water and information which .enabled them to escape. In the w’ords of her sweetheart, “it w r as the bravest thing a woman ever did.”
