HOOVER WAITS TEXT OF PACT ON WAR DEBT U. S. May Join in Parley to Approve Reductions of German Payments. BV LYLE C. WILSON I'nited Frr. Mass orreipondcnt WASHINGTON, June 6.—Presi;nt Herbert Hoover is awaiting a cxtural report of the Pans repara- ' ons conference agreement before eciding whether it will be nec- ■ .sary for the United States to ?rticipate in an international con•'rence to approve the experts' ork. If such a conference requires 'meric an participation, Hoover's ■presentative will be either Anibasdor Charles G. Dawes or Senator Valter Edge, who is slated for the merican embassy in Paris. Henry L. Stimson, secretary of ate. was of the opinion a fortnight ~o that a second conference would necessary and that the United ates would participate. This pro'dure was followed m 1921-25 when ue Dawes plan was being created nd put into effect. The administration is prepared to educe its claims on Germany somesat, but Stimson says he does not tow whether the experts’ plan goes o far as to grant Germany a tem•orary moratorium. Tire situation was discussed at a "hit* House conference which inuded Stimson and congressional rders a fortnight ago. Under the Dawes plan the United ates would have received about 0.000,000 annually. Approximately If this sum was to pay claims of ' merican citizens for war time damyes by Germany. The remainder ?.s to pay the cost of the Anreri?n army, which occupied a poron of the Rhineland after the war \t the White House conference imson informed President Hoovei id congressional leaders of a disr.tch from Owen D. Young, chairan of the Paris confer . ce. that a "Auction would be necessary. The change, according to Stimuli. will not reduce sums to be revived by American claimants, but iay somewhat delay payment.

LESLIE BLAMES 1 HARSH JUDGES ! FOR CRIME GAIN Flays Courts for Sending Youths to Jail for Petty j Offenses. Judges in various parts of Indiana who are sending children and first offenders to state penal institutions for long terms and the harsh habits of discipline in the institutions were flayed Wednesday night by Governor Harry G. Leslie in an address before Indianapolis Bar Association members at the Columbia Club. "Some of these wse-cra eking rural judges are sending youths to prison for stealing a pound of honey. If these smart judges would have an interest in these boys and girls other than passing sentences, crime would not be so rampant in Indiana." "Indiana penal institutions must right-about-face,” he asserted. "The good in the inmates must be found. We will not get anywhere until this method is adopted." Attorneys Earl Conder. SCnow What Good Dentistry Consists of— The word ‘'dentistry" covers a multitude of sins—for it must be right or wrong. For instance, teeth can be extracted painlessly, but harmfully, with various forms of dope, w'hereas our Maxoline Method (Reg. U. S. Pat. Off.) is painless, but at the same time safe and pleasant. Crowns can be as thin as paper and you might wrongfully be given the impression that they are heavy. Our crowns are extra heavy on the chewing surface to insure long wear, and fitted tight to preserve the tooth. Our plates are exact duplicates of Nature, made of finest, most lasting materials, and fitted to function perfectly and to improve your beauty. Best of all, we are conscientious —your interests are ours —and our prices are not too high, not too y low for the best to be offered in dentistry. Our Work fig". Jig! Has Stood Os Time..
