Standard Oil Company 'lndiana' st ick worth $14,385,000. for which employes paid only $6,606,000. and $360,000 in cash, were distributed today to 15.022 employes of the company in ten states under the employes’ three-year stock purchasing i pan. which expired March 31. officials here announced. To this the company added 50 cents for every dollar in- ! vested by the employe for the puri chase of stock which was held for distribution until the plan expired. Salmon and Macaroni Cover a greased baking dish with U cup of bread crumbs, then add j in alternate layers 3 cups of cooked macaroni, 1 cup of salmon. 1 tea- ; spoon of chopped pickle, 1 teaspoon of salt, ’ teaspoon of pepper, U tea- | spoon paprika. Savory Green Beans Melt 2 tablespoons butter, add 1 onion and 2 or 3 stalks of celery, chopped fine. Cook until light brown. Cream Fruit Sherbet One egg white, stiffly whipped. 1 i ! cup sugar. 1 cup any kind of preferred fruit juice 'lemon, orange, nectarine, peach, grape, berry, etc.), 1 quart whole milk. Whip the sugar gradually into the. v. flipped egg white, then whip the truit- juice in the same way. then the milk, continuing to whip till all is added. Pour into freezer, pack well with cracked ice and salt, and freeze. This recipe makes half a gallon. Report blanks have been prepared by the fish and game division of the state conservation department for commercial fishermen to report on their Lake Michigan catches under the new law which is effective June 1. George N. Mannfeld, division chief, called attention to the 1929 statute which requires that these Lake Michigan fishermen must, procure a license and make monthly reports. The blanks provide for listing time of service of various fishing gear, weight and species of the catches. Penalty for failure to secure license or make reports includes fines of $25 to SIOO and imprisonment to sixty days. This is the first lawrequiring a report on fish catches and is expected to give the department valuable data. Mannfeld said. SET CHURCH GATHERING United Brethren Christian Endeavor Conference in June. More than 500 young people of the Christian Endeavor society of the United Brethren White River conference will attend the Thirtyseventh annual conference at the Brookside church, June 24, 25, 26 and 27. Many noted speakers are scheduled to appear. These include: Dr. O. T. Deeder. D. D., of Dayton; Bishop A. B. Statton. of Kansas City; Rev. H. C. Beauchamp of St. Joseph conference. Rev. F. A. Reed, the pastor of the church has a large corps of committees making arrangements for the conference.

sugar. 1 cup mashed potatoes, 1 tablespoon of salt. 1 teaspoon of soda. 1 teaspoon baking powder. Heat the milk to boiling point, add shortening, sugar and potatoes while the milk is hot. Beat thoroughly and set aside t j cool. Sift soda and baking powder with 1 quart of flour. When the milk is cool beat in the flour and yeast.
