Winners Go to National Winners of district contests will fake part in the national contests to be. held in conjunction with the biennial convention of the National Federation of Music Clubs in Boston June 9 to 16. National contest winners will rcctive prize money and the backing of nalional federation for future jnusical careers. They also will be guests at a banquet to be given at the national convention by the National Federation's Past Presidents’ Assembly, whose membership is made up of past, presidents of the federated musical clubs. Ail contestants are required to be native-born citizens of the United States or naturalized citizens, or children of naturalized parents, if parents reside in the United States. Contestants must have lived in the United States more than one-half their lives and must have received their entire musical training here in the ten years immediately preceding the contest. They are required to perform entirely without words or music. Student contest entrants are between 16 and 24 years old. Young artist entrants are between 20 and 32. Pictures of all state contest winners, including those of the recent junior contests conducted by the Indiana federation, will be exhibited at. the Boston biennial convention. Luncheon for Visitors All district contest judges and other out-of-town visitors will be entertained by the Indianapolis Matinee Musicale and its president. Forty graduates and former students of Vassar college attended the Founder's day luncheon at 1 o'clock today at the Fropylaeum. As is the custom, Henry N. MacCracken, president of Vassar, wrote a mes-
sage for alumnae and former students. which was read at the luncheon. The same message was read at Founder's day celebrations throughout, the country. Following luncheon, Mrs. Dorothy Dugan Goodrich, retiring president, had charge of installation of new officers. Mrs. Walter Bieling is the new president. Other officers are: Vice-president, Mrs. G. May luncheon meeting’ of Indianapolis Chapter, No. 20. Women’s Organization of Retail Druggists, will be held Tuesday at the chapter house. Mrs. Edward Enners is chairman in charge of arrangements, assisted by Mrs. W. C. Stedfeld, Mrs. F. R. Keiser, Mrs. George Oren, Mrs. A. Hoffman, Mrs. Fred Dunnington and Mrs. George Stockton.
