Prominent City Couple Married Miss Edith Dale Watson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James S. Watson, 3942 North Delaware street, became the bride of Charles Lionel Nicholson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Meredith Nicholson. Golden Hill, at a beautiful ceremony at noon today. The service was performed at the Second Presbyterian church by the Rev. Jean S. Milner, pastor. The church was decorated beautifully throughout. The chancel was banked with clbodium ferns and lighted with three fifteen-branch candelabra, holding lighted tapers and showers of Easter lilies. Aisles of the church were lined on either side, down the entire length, with tall standards bearing lighted candles and showers of Easter llles. tied on with huge bows of white satin. A program of bridal airs was played by Paul Matthews, organist, proceeding the ceremony. The guests were seated by Wilson Wothershead, Clifford Arrick, Henry Krenzel, Wayne Kinnaird. Malcolm Jilson, William Wilson, George Lcmcke and Louis Huesmann. Dressed in White Lace All the bride’s attendants were dressed similarly, in white lace frocks, made with long fitted bodices and full circular flounces, set on diagonally, that reached the floor on one side. They had narrow' girdles at the natural waistline and short coats of lace. They w'ore pale green suede shoes and green felt hats to match. They carried arm bouquets of calla lilies tied with ropes of tmilax. The maid of honor, Miss Elizabeth Watson, sister of the bride, wore a large green felt hat and the bridesmaids’ hats were fffnall. Miss Watson's bridesmaids were Mrs. Meredith Nicholson Jr., Mrs. Nicholson Claypool, Mrs. Clifford Arrick, Miss Marguerite Smith, Philadelphia, Miss Betty Hereth. .Miss Llewellyn Hereth. Miss Frances Reed, and Miss Jane Watson, also a sister of the bride. The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a gowm of ivory satin, made with a fitted bodice, with a deep V-yoke of rose point iace cut to the waist line in front. The long tight sleeves had five-inch cuffs of rose point lace. The skirt, cut circular, swept into a long court train in the back.
Wears Bridegroom's Gift She wore a diamond bracelet, the gift of the bridegroom, and a seed pearl locket belonging to her mother. She carried a lace handkerchief which her great-grandmother and her mother had carried on their wedding days. Her veil had a cap of rose point lace, caught with clusters of orange blossoms at either side. She carried a shower bouquet of white orchids and lilies of the valley, tied with ivory satin ribbons. Following the ceremony a wedding breakfast and reception was held at the Woodstock Club for 400 guests. Mrs. Watson received in a gown of midnight blue lace, with a corsage of orchids. Mrs. Watson wore blue chiffon and orchids. The bridal table w'as centered with a cake-stand made of pink roses and lilies of the valley, holding a Ucred weeding cake. The clubhouse throughout war decorated with basket of Dresden and pastel colored 1 lowers. Leave for California Mr arid Mrs. Nicholson left for a tip to California. The bride wore a tin ensemble, made with a tan satin blouse, tan wool skirt and coat, with a lynx collar. Her hat was ran felt and site wore tan lizard shoes and carried a lizard bag. They will te in Indianapolis at their new home, 32 East Fifty-second street, after June 15. The bride was graduated from Tudor hall and Pine Manor, Wellesley. Honoring Professor Patty B. Hill, head of the department of nursery, kindergarten primary education, at Columbia University Teachers’ college. Miss Grace L. Brov.n. superintendent of the Indianapolis Free Kindergarten Society, entertained with a luncheon today at the Propylaeum. Guests were members of the board of directors of the Kindergarten Association. Professor Hill is the guest of Miss Brown at the Propylaeum during her Kit in Indianapolis. “Changing Conceptions in Education of Young Children." was the subject of a talk given b.v her Friday before the Free Kindergarten Society and teaching staff at Crospsey auditorium.

Miss Clara Fcxworthy entertained tlrs afternoon at her home with a surprise china shower and bridge party in honor of Miss Mildred Booth, whose marriage to Harold Magee will take place at, her home in Milroy. 200 Guests at Alumnae Club Party More than 200 guests attended the guest day of Alpha Chi Omega Alumnae Club held at the Avalon Country Club today. LADIES’ AID SOCIETY WILL PRESENT PLAY
Members of the Ladies’ Aid Society of the Seventh Presbyterian church will present a three-act play. ‘‘All a Mistake.” at 8 o’clock Monday and Tuesday nights at the church hall, 828 Elm street. FRENCH CLUB TO HEAR LECTURER
Henri Dressolette of the department of romance languages at Indiana university will give an illustrated lecture In French, with views from his own collection of “The Zura Mountains," before members of the Alliance Francaise at the Spink-Arms hotel Tuesday night.
