Somewhere in Indianapolis reposes a *I,OOO F*ersian rug. eight by ten feet, either lost or stolen Tuesday from the rear of a delivery car of the French Steam Dye Works, 317 West Maryland street. The rug is the property of Harry B. Simmons. 4060 Broadway, and had been sent to the cleaners. The driver of the truck told police he was sure the rug was on his car when he drove down Senate avenue and crossed Indiana.

Richard Halliburton, Boyish Adventurer, Will Lecture on Saturday. Richard Halliburton, youthful author of “The Royal Road to Romance" and “The Glorious Adventure," will lecture Saturday at 3 p. m. at Caleb Mills hall under auspice* of the Tudor Hall Alumnae Association, for the benefit of the Fredonia Allen memorial scholarship fund. Halliburton returned recently from ten months in Central and South America, where he adventured along the trails of Cortez, Balboa and. Pizarro. His adventures included a seventy-foot dive into the sacrificial Well of Death at the ruined city of Chichen Itza in Yucatan. and swimming the length of the Panama canal, in the course of which locks were opened for him. Upon graduation from Princeton, in 1921. Halliburton vagabonded his way to Europe and India and wrote his first book, “Tne Royal Road to Romance." at 23. He was born in ICOO at Memphis.
