Sorority Club's Meeting to Be at Hannan Home •Miss Josephine Harmon will be hostess for the April meeting of the Indianapolis Alumnae Club of Phi Beta Phi sorority at her home, 2221 North Meridian street, at 2:30 Saturday, April 13. Dinner for Children to Open Conclave of Mission Society
A dinner tonight for children workers, to be held at the Lumley tea room, will open the annual meeting of the Woman's Home Missionary Society of the Indianapolis district of the Methodist Episcopal church. Mrs. Edward F. New will be in charge. A special missionary service will be held at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Roberts Park Methodist church. A pageant, undef direction of Mrs. L. H. Millikan, will be presented by children, portraying the work they are doing, as their part of the program. A large chorus of ■epresentatives of the Mothers’ Jewels and Home Guards, will sing. \lrs. Sixth annual costume ball of the Indiana Artists’ Club will be held at the Marott hotel Saturday night, April 27. The predominating characteristic of the ball always is the beauty, originality, and gayety of the costumes designed by the artists, art students and their friends. It is planned along the lines of the famous Quatres .Arts ball of Paris and the Beaux Arts ball of New York. The ’ ball is not strictly invitational. Mrs. Prater was founder of the chapter and first president and was an active worker of the International Study and Travel Club. She also was a member of the Artman council, an honorary chapter composed of the past presidents of the chapters. A memorial service will be held later by the federation.
ALUMNA CLUB WILL MEET
Mrs. Munday Dedert, 3336 Kenwood avenue, will be hostess for the meeting of the Alumna Club, Mu Phi Epsilon, national honorary musical sorority, Wednesday at her home. She will be assisted by Mrs. Mary Clune Shiel and Miss Lulu Brown. Luncheon will be served at 12:30. The following program has been arranged by Miss Ruby Kieffer: Current events. Mrs Inez McNutt and an informal discussion of modern jazz, led by Mrs. Louise Mason Caldwell, Mrs. Jane Johnson Bur-roughs,-Mrs. Lutie Gruber and Mrs. Leslie Truma.’L
