by the first Mrs. Allison against Mr. Allison’s mother, Mrs. Myra J. Allison, in probate court, in which the plaintiff sought to have the mother produce and probate Mr. Allison’s will. Mr. Allison's estates here and in Florida were reputed to be valued at about $4,000,000. The suits were filed shortly after his death. The suit by the first Mrs. Allison seeking to have the will probated alleged that Mr. Allison left a will but that this had been revoked because the signature on the codicil was tom off in an effort to destroy the document. By the terms of this will the bulk of the estate would have gone to the first wife. Had the will been filed for probate in Florida, as attorneys for the mother contended it should, the property would have gone to Mrs. Myra Allison, according to the Florida laws: The alienation of affections suit charged the second wife with ‘ deliberately and systematically” trying to win Mr. Allison’s affections while she was the former capitalist’s secretary. Mr. Allison married his former secretary in July, 1928, and died in Indianapolis five days after the wedding. Mrs. Sare Allison had obtained a divorce in Florida in 1928.

The amendment had been introduced several days ago by Representative Lloyd Claycombe, of Indianapolis, who explained that if the bill passed the American Legion, which is now sponsoring bouts at Armory would lose, because the
