INAUGURAL TO TAX RESOURCES OF RECORDERS ‘Coverage’ by Radio, Films, Press Will Set New Mark. BY ALFRED P. RECK, United Press Staff Correspondent WASHINGTON, March I.—The inaugural of Herbert Hoover on March 4 will be recorde . for posterity more completely than any other event heretofore held including the homecoming of Colonel Charles A. Lindbergh. More than 150 cameramen, stills, movies and sound recorders, will catch every incident in the ceremony of making Mr. Hoover the next President of the United States. Never before has a single event been so completely reported by words, pictures and sound recording instruments. In addition a special radio hookup will carry detailed description to many parts of the world. Airships and airplanes will be called upon to aid newspaper men and camera men in securing quick action on transmission of tir word and picture story of the inaugural. Three newspaper men, including a United Press correspondent, will be carried in the navy dirigible Los Angeles when it leads the aerial parade over the city immediately following the ceremonies at the Capitol. Army blimps and military planes will carry comeramen to snap birdseye views of the, slow-moving land parade. Special arrangements have been made to devejop the films while in flight and fast pursuit planes will be held in readiness at Bolling field to carry the inaugural pictures to many of the larger cities Sound recording film trucks have been given permission to travel up and down the line of march to record pictures and sounds of the colorful parade. ‘MEN ONLY’ MANNIKINS Keep Buenos Aires Posted on Latest Masculine Styles. BUENOS AIRES, March I.—Two male manikins, who parade daily through the principal streets, keep Buenos Aires up to the minute on what the well-dressed man will wear. The pair have all the accoutrements and manners of men about town, and are followed at times by such crowds that they nearly stop traffic. They do not descend to pass out advertising, but in conversation with each others or passersby leave no doubt as to where the new outfits they wear every day can be duplicated.
