Black Walnut Macaroons Three egg whites, one-fourth teaspoon salt, one cup sugar, one cup cocoanut., three cups corn flakes, one teaspoon vanilla and two table-, spoons black walnut meats. Beat egg whites until very stiff; add salt and sugar slowly while beating. Mix in cocoanut, com flakes, vanilla and chopped nuts. Drop by teaspoon on a baking sheet t covered with waxed paper. Smoked Ham Roast One slice of smoked ham m inches thick. 1 tablespoon of mustard. 1 teaspoon of sugar, i cup of sweet milk and white pepper to taste.
